Welcome to the Artist’s Kula x
Connect. Expand. Create.
Hello :) I’m Mata Kamaleshwari, and my reason for being is to help us all live big, mystical, creative and deeply satisfying lives.
I also believe we do better when we are together, among like-minded beings. That is why I created The Artist’s Kula.
You sat down to create. The mind showed up instead. Rude.
If you know that feeling, the freeze, the doubt, the comparison spiral, the disconnection to the work, the creative drought that makes no sense because you have so much to say, you are in the right place.
The Artist’s Kula is for artists and creatives with a spiritual nature who want to:
Connect to the Clear Space and to a family walking the same ground
Expand their awareness and creative energy
Create from flow instead of force
There is a space inside you where creativity moves freely.
Not because you pushed hard enough. Not because you finally became disciplined. Not because you found the right technique.
But because something settled. Something quieted. And from that quiet, the work came.
That space is real. It has a name.
Finding your way back to it again and again in real creative life is what this publication is about.
If you want to learn how to create from the Clear Space rather than the busy mind, start here:
» When the energy stops moving, most advice makes it worse.
Why This Matters, Especially Now
Creativity is not just for artists. It is a way of living, of being and of meeting your own life awake.
We are in a time of great change, a reboot for all humanity. In times like these, creativity and a strong mystical practice are not luxuries. They are how we stay whole.
Not just to survive. To thrive.
Who Am I?
Hi, my name is Mata Kamaleshwari.
I am an artist, author and spiritual mentor for creatives, with thirty years of spiritual practice and teaching. I am devoted to Shakti, creative energy and movement herself.
I have raised children alone, navigated chronic illness and survived the kind of losses that either break you or deepen you. Every single time, I found that the practice held.
I stopped making art for twelve years. It returned on my 50th birthday, with everything changed.
What I teach is not theory. It is lived. It is tested. It is still unfolding. Most of it is my own work, drawn from my embodied practice, and you will not find it anywhere else.
I write about the inner life of the creative: doubt, contraction, comparison, loss of momentum and the real return to flow. I write about the Clear Space, the expanded inner state where creativity moves without pressure or force, and about the razor’s edge of spiritual life: honest, unpolished, sometimes funny and always true.
You do not need to be a meditator. You do not need to know a great philosophy.
You just need to feel the pull towards something more alive in your creative life.
Connect. Expand. Create.
This is the rhythm of the Kula.
You connect to the Clear Space and to a family walking the same ground.
You expand, your awareness and creative energy opening into it.
You create in free action and real expression, letting what wants to come, come.

A Note on How This Space Works
The Artist’s Kula is an open courtyard. You are welcome here whether you stay for one post or one decade. Nothing is required of you except your own curiosity.
I want to be completely transparent about how this works because I have seen what happens when money and teaching become tangled in the dark.
So, lights on.
I earn my living as an artist, writer, spiritual teacher and coach/mentor. The courses and memberships offered here are part of that livelihood, and I’m not shy about it.
I believe a teacher who earns her own way stays free. Free to tell you the truth and free to let you go when it is time.
When you buy a course or join a membership here, you are paying for craft: structure, teaching, my time and my experience. It is a clear exchange between sovereign adults.
What you will never pay for is grace.
Whatever moves through this work, call it Shakti, Source or the current beneath your creativity, was never mine to sell. It is already yours. My job is simply to help you recognise it.
This space is for creating, practising and remembering. You are responsible for your own journey; I am a guide and a mirror, that’s all.
For those who feel called to deeper spiritual work, sustained practice, circles and the full tradition, that happens in a separate, dedicated container with its own agreements and care.
If and when you are ready, you can simply ask.
A Note on How This Is Written
Every word here is mine.
I am not gifted with spelling and grammar, and I refuse to lose good hours to them, so I use AI to tidy them. Now and then, I also use it to think out loud while I work out what I want to say.
The download is always mine first. What you read is me. x
